Species
Although these are not the only species we offer, these are the ones we specialize in. Lapeng Safaris is based in the middle veld (between the lowveld and the highveld), in a subtropical climate where certain species like Kudu, Buffalo, Bushbuck and Impala thrive.

Greater Kudu (Tragelaphus strepsiceros)
Known among international hunters as the "Grey Ghost of Africa," the Greater Kudu (Tragelaphus strepsiceros) is widely considered the ultimate plains game prize. With sweeping spiral horns, exceptional camouflage, and acute senses, a mature kudu bull offers one of the most challenging and rewarding spot-and-stalk hunts on the continent.
At Lapeng Safaris, we manage prime concessions across the rugged transition zones of Limpopo and Mpumalanga. Our mountainous terrain, dense acacia thickets, and deep riverine valleys provide the ideal habitat for kudu bulls to reach full maturity and exceptional trophy horn length.
